It can be difficult being a Product or UX Designer in the modern tech environment. With an increasing range of responsibilities, the modern designer needs to have a grasp of design, research, data, managing multiple stakeholders and more! As well as these extra responsibilities we have to ride the wave of tech companies instability - tackling layoffs as well as hiring booms, new technologies and more.
UX Talks is here to help! We are a community who love product design and making digital products and can help you navigate through the new technologies, processes and challenges. We provide a supportive environment for you to grow your skills and knowledge as well as build connections in the industry.
In our friendly growing community you'll meet other designers, researchers, product managers and creatives - from experienced design leaders to those just starting out - we work together to help you achieve your goals.
"A community like the one created by UX Talks is invaluable because it genuinely cares about you and your success. Without a community, you miss out on the chance to benefit from decades—if not hundreds of years—of collective experience."
James Billington, UX Designer
I'm George, the founder of UX Talks which I started in 2022. I created this group to help designers like me who want to have a place to bounce ideas of each other, learn from industry leaders and learn more about Product Design and User Experience best practice. I hope as well that people will have fun and make some friends along the way!
I've been a designer for 20 years, since I started my own graphic design company way back in 2004 and then transitioned to UX design. I've designed for products with millions of users in roles at Poppulo, Intercom and Prezi - where I am currently a Senior Product Designer.
